Recently on 12th October while I was out picking up some apples from our garden I was in a place of contemplation with the Lord - One of those 'What is going on here Lord?' 'Why are we here?' moments. This feels like we could be doing this same stuff back in Wales and at least I could have all my friends and family around me then - There must be some purpose in us getting visas for us to live half way around the world to work with the body of Christ here. There must be more than this etc etc etc.

Then I had the thought - 'Remember the dream' instantly I knew this was the Holy Spirit as my thoughts were immediately directed to a dream my friend Dawn in Wales had back in 2001 when I had stayed at her house. We had been praying until late the night before and I had stayed in their spare room. In the morning she came in and told me she had had a dream about me and it was about the harvest.

DREAM:
She saw me picking up apples and putting them in my apron and then more apples appeared so I put them in a wheelbarrow, then I took the apples away and came back and there were more apples on the trees and more on the floor and more in wheelbarrow too many to fill up. The harvest was coming in so fast she said I know you are going to be really busy.

A few weeks later my oldest daughter came home with a video called Ever After - One of the first scenes was Cinderella picking up the fallen apples off the floor. The Holy Spirit has spoken to me through the fairytale of Cinderella since 2001 as a parable for the 'true' church as she stands forth and takes hold of her true inheritance - I knew this was such a confirmation of the dream Dawn had shared, about the harvest of apples (souls) to come in to the Kingdom of God. We are of course the Apple of Gods eye - excuse the pun! Below is an excerpt from the video and also a video I made of the apples in our garden and some photos.... More on this to come ... Thank you Jesus for leaving the Holy Spirit to reveal the mysteries of the Kingdom to us - especially when we at times get perplexed with our circumstances!!!!!

Race for Life - Stafford - Clare Skelton's last goal

On 12th July 2011 at 7pm many women were 'toes to the line' in Stafford, England, UK at the Race for Life event. These amazingly well supported events run all over the country to raise money for cancer research in the UK.

As you may know from some previous blogs I wrote about Clare Skelton, she finished her physical race and sadly for u,s but awesome for her, she entered eternity on 25th May 2011.

However, her burning passion was to run the Stafford race on 12th July which was her home town, and use the sport of running that she loved so much, to raise money to help find a cure for this awful disease.

Below are some photos of the event - I too was able to run at 11am Pacific Time West Coast of USA in Silverdale, WA at the same time as the event was running in England. It was an amazing feeling knowing I was running in the spirit with all the people who so wanted to honour Clare and her last goal and effort to raise money and finish this race.

Emma, Clares sister made a speech before the race and also did some radio interviews and spoke at schools prior to the event to help raise awareness of this disease. I am so proud of you Emma - as I wrote to you last week -

'I am so proud of you being able to speak at the start and on radio, given the very personal situation – just like your sister, not thinking of yourself, but making the most out of the situation to turn it around for good, to encourage others. You are such an encourager Emma'

Please continue to pray for Clares family as they all move on with their journey in these early days - I pray in the coming days they will be able to celebrate Clares life more and more above mourning her loss - a hard task but I believe one that is possible with time.

As she moved on without her mum, she found a beautiful voice inside of her that not only helped her overcome her pain, but Rhema's voice now blesses so many people globally. Today is my oldest daughter 'Carly's' graduation in Cardiff, Wales. It was so hard not to be there but watching her walk across the platform in her cap and gown at 4am US Pacific Time after 3 attempts to tune in was awesome... She so deserves her reward BA (Hons) Law

When Carly was 14 she had two favourite films (movies :)) Never Been Kissed and Legally Blonde. The latter she went on to watch SOOOOOO often it is beyond recalling - I still can not fathom how someone can watch one film over and over again, and still enjoy it - I think she inherited that from her dad for sure!

However, the films character as well as watching the antics of a young women enjoying makeup-shoes-clothes told the story of the making of an excellent Lawyer... Isn't it ironic that Carly is such an amazingly smart young lady, loving all the legally blonde 'girlie' things, yet like legally blonde - she obviously also had the brains to gain a Law degree and potentially become a solicitor/lawyer.

This morning I woke wondering more about the natives, the land and the people of the Kitsap Peninsula where we live. Kitsap is said to be a sub-arm of the larger Olympic Peninsula located west of Seattle. The S'Klallam Tribe is the name of the first people recorded on the peninsula, of which I also found some interesting reading below. This article I found quite informative. More will be coming as I plough through and find some points of interest about the land where we now call home...it seems to me there is need for a me to really look at the history- the native people lost a lot to the europeans who came here - reading this makes me sad but it is important to know our history - so these mistakes can be acknowledges - prayed about - repented of (especially as I am now a Europrean living on the peninsula!

The word S'Klallam means "the strong people." Aboriginal S'Klallam bands inhabited present-day Washington State's northern Olympic Peninsula. Clallam County, whose northern edge is the shoreline of the Olympic Peninsula, is named after the S'Klallam.

The tribe was a distinct group whose villages were unified by intermarriage and language. The S'Klallam tongue is a member of the Salishan family of Indian languages. Village sites existed from the Hoko River on the west to Puget Sound on the east, and villages flanked both shores of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. A S'Klallam village once flourished at what would become downtown Port Angeles.
Like their neighbors, the S'Klallam relied heavily upon the rich Northwest waters to harvest salmon and other finned species, as well as shellfish. The Elwha River was a customary waterway for subsistence, but also for inter-village get-togethers. They moved to upriver villages as they followed the seasons. Families also trekked over the Olympic Mountains to gather plants and berries, and hunt for large game. The S'Klallam venerated the mountains, which they held to be sacred.

Englishman Robert Duffin's arrival on a longboat expedition from the west coast of Vancouver Island in July 1788 marked the first recorded encounter between Europeans and the S'Klallam.
The early explorers were unwitting carriers of smallpox, measles, influenza and tuberculosis, to which the indigenous people had no immunity. Entire villages withered in a massive social dislocation as waves of epidemics swept through.

Quick news report! Carly passed her Law degree she got a 2.2 also known in the UK as 'a Desmond' after Desmond Tutu. She says quote text ‘It feels surreal, like I’m free with no burdens!’ Long may that feeling continue - you deserve it !!!!!! She has not had an easy path the last few years especially since we left UK in January 2010- and she finished the course with glowing results!

I am so proud of you Carly - not just pleased for the result but that you finished - it would have been so easy to walk away so many times but you stuck at it - Love you SO MUCH and wish I could be there to hug you - will have to wait until end July for a hug now - not long... x

In an interview during the 8th Annual Christian Medical Conference held in Brisbane, Australia, from June 11-12, 2011, he said that he has given up his medical practice to dedicated his life to investigating miracles that cannot be explained medically.
Dr. Hwang, who is vice-president of the World Christian Doctors Network (WCDN), based in Seoul, South Korea, the group who organized the gathering that attracted some 220 doctors and medical professionals from 30 countries, said that it is important that medical data be examined about claimed miracles as quite often medical people are skeptical about whether they are real or not.
“We have uncovered many testimonies of how the power of God has healed patients and when doctors hear this kind of news, they become curious,” he said. “They want to know if it true or just a story that someone has made up.
“So that is why we put on these ‘Spirituality and Medicine’ conferences each year and then present medical data before and after the patient got prayed for. As far as I know, we at WCDN are the only Christian medical organization that invites doctors to come and hear from other doctors and are then able to openly discuss the evidence of divine healing.”
Dr. Hwang is now fulltime in the WCDN ministry and so I asked him about how it began.
“WCDN held its first conference in in Korea in 2004 and since then we have gathered each year in various countries around the world which have included India, the Philippines, the United States, Norway, Ukraine and last year in Italy,” he said.
Why was Australia chosen for the latest conference?
“Australia,” he replied, “is a very westernized and secular country with what we first thought were just a few doctors who were interested in divine healing.

I am from the UK and my husband is from Argentina: Some interesting dinner time discussions - coming up :) What is it with the American Nation, that it seems to be ok to demand that other countries give up territory, yet I feel quite sure President Obama would not be told by another nation about which territory America should give up.

I'm not saying the Falklands should remain British. However, if the greater population living there want to remain British, is it not the Islanders choice and right to be governed by the country they vote for, and not the government of the USA or any other nation to decide?

I posted this song on the blog on Pentecost Sunday 2011- Strange that as I was looking for the 'We Can Ride' song I then came across the above song, that I also remember from my days as a baby Christian ( I was born again 1995) Many of these songs were brought forth from the revivals taking place in the USA and other nations. I played the song all evening along with Ride with Me.. I was so excited again remembering the days when I knew no politics of church, and no 'is this God or not God' It just seemed all so much fun around these people. I felt determined to experience this and more than this again as I worshipped, sang and romanced My Jesus.

On Monday morning I was sat at the computer, and heard a sudden howling wind... I looked out of the window and the trees at the back of our house were silvery white. As I looked at the wind, it was so strong, I could only see the underside of the leaves. I thought this strange as the day was calm with no cloud and no wind until that moment... Weird I thought...

Then I remembered the night before when I had been singing 'Oh Sweet Wind will Blow you over me' I sensed in my spirit the Lord was saying... He is here Like He promised and I will ride with him and I will know once again the power and majesty of His mighty rushing wind...

I shared this with a Lover of Jesus at our church and he sent this reply:

Yeah, I went on a break at work on Mon. Quite often. I will sit in my car, and seek my Lord. I will see the wind rustle the leaves in the bushes and the trees. I have always thought, Yes , I thank you Lord. A moment of a reminder that He is here. He hears our call to Him.

But on Monday, The break I took was about 11: 40 am. The wind came up and was very strong. You could hear the sound before the leaves even began to move on the trees. It was different. No clouds that would usually describe the type of wind to me, could see no beginning, but could see the end. The wind was from S to North I believe. It seemed to end across the street. The trees near the freeway, and near some of the homes were untouched.

The sound got my attention. IN my spirit,I really felt something was different. Some way, somehow, I took this as an answer to prayer. I was thinking about the song, Holy And Anointed one, and will we ride. I realized that so many times, I say yes, but I hesitate.

I am believe this is just another confirmation... We are about to enter into a something HOLY and FIERCE.... the wind and fire of the Holy Spirit has not left... He is just stoking up for some more Holy Fun and Frolics..... Thank Jesus for signs in the heavens and the earth X

John Crowder dispels myths about prayer at

This teaching on prayer is so spot on, it is really liberating and makes such sense. I have been reading some books and material by John Crowder in the last year and have felt he is spot on with so many issues regarding the Body of Christ. In saying that, comments like 'toking the ghost' I do not feel sit right in my spirit and never have. Now this maybe a 'religious mind set' due to being so indoctrinated by the institutional or structural practices of the church, and as many of the 'Joy reveler's' would probably identify the cause of this 'uncomfortable' 'uneasiness' as just that a religious spirit; yet for me, for now at least, I am calling it 'discernment' and even honour.

If God gets hold of me and tells me otherwise - bring it on, but for now 'Toking the Ghost' would for me dishonour the Holy Spirit, if I was to encouraging people to 'toke the ghost' or 'jack up' with the Holy Spirit (i.e. inject Him) and I was to compare receiving an infilling of the Person of the Holy Spirit on a level of a drug fix.

However, ...... I am comfortable with terms such as sloshed, drunk, or even a new one that surfaced the other night was 'Getting Tanked up at Cosco' We were actually referring to getting the car tank filled with gas/petrol, but I laughed and said "Maybe it's prophetic, we will be getting Tanked up with the Spirit at Cosco in days to come" So what is the difference?? What makes some terms OK and other not? Is it mere values? I have wondered is it because in my younger day I was at times 'tanked up' on alcohol but never high on drugs or addicted to smoking anything? Is it possible this is about being relative to personal experience?

I am so encouraged with this word prophesied by Kim Clements and sent out today by Elijah List . It is so what I have been knowing is coming some day. Once I was caught up in an open heaven for many hours and didn't really understand what was happening. I was so drunk I could not stand with out wobbling or laughing, it was like I was in a bubble of thick serum and everyone was in slow motion, it was so strong my arms were floppy and useless.. That summer of 1997 or 98 I had prayed daily for the Lord to release 'an Open Heaven' and release a 'Portal of His Glory' over the summer youth camp... It happened to me on the last night... And they will say, 'Can the President not veto this?'" God says, "There is no one greater than the Lord God Almighty. For the kings to trust in their horses and the strength of numbers is foolishness."

But God says, "There is a remnant of people in this nation that have said, 'We trust not in horses nor do we trust in chariots, but we remember the name of the Lord.' For the former Disney animator who worked on such classic films as “The Lion King,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Aladdin” and “Mulan,” one mission stood above the rest – fulfilling God’s will for his life. In an interview with The Gospel Herald, Liu shared about his new, God-given dreams, which were no longer centered on winning an Oscar, but on doing the Kingdom’s work, despite financial obstacles and family disapproval.

“Fulfilling the will of God is more important than earning worldly wealth because the treasures on earth are temporary, but the treasures stored in heaven are for an eternity,” Liu stated. Having worked in Hollywood for over a decade ever since he was 19, the talented artist revealed why he chose to abandon such an illustrious and highly coveted job, during what appeared to be the very pinnacle of his career.

“When I worked in Disney, deep down in my heart, I was always discontent. At that time, I thought to myself, ‘Why is it that movies and artworks produced by Christian film are oftentimes made with low budgets or made in an unattractive manner?’”

“[I] asked God in my prayer and God told me that it is because good artists have given their best to the world.” Desiring to offer his best to God instead, Liu decided to quit his job and dedicate himself to producing inspiring, character-based animated stories of faith.

Tonight I received an email from me dear friend Emma with news of her dear sister 'Clare Skelton' who passed away today after a 10 month battle against cancer. I believe with all my heart she has entered Glory. Please continue to pray for Clares family who will dearly miss her and are obviously devastated.

Today my daughter sent me a picture of her and the love of her life - taken at her friends wedding on Saturday 14th May. This wedding marked a special milestone for her and her circle of friends that she has kept since grade 7 in highschool. Why? you may ask. Azzi's wedding was the first of all the girls.

They are all now 22 years old, it seems so young to be getting married - I suppose it also seems so amazing to think in such a short time, my little girl has grown up into such a beautiful young lady. In just a few days she will finish her Law finals at University, graduate in July and then ... who knows - some day maybe even get married. I am sort of glad that marriage is not the topic of conversation for her right now, but it did give me a few tears when I saw some lovely photos of the wedding. One thing I know for sure, this young lady is a wise one, and when she knows, she will know.

Near Field Communication (NFC) or 'Cashless Society' or Mark of the Beast?

After I was first born again in May 1995 (and earlier in the 1980's) I read books by Barry Smith on Endtime theory's. One was called Post Script and it had a lasting effect on my appetitie for the end time teachings. I am not sure I agreed with all his prophetic insights, however, I have learned since reading this sort of material, to not throw the baby out with the bath water.

One thing I do remember though, is a friend of mine who was 'away' from Jesus at that time, had been to a seminar and was reading one of his books 'Final Notice' . She told me that she was making sure she would never take the mark of the beast, and was making every effort too: use cash as much as possible - as one day it will be difficult to buy anything without a bar code, grow her own veggies - as one day hybrids may mean we wont have the seeds to grow from scratch ourselves etc. At the time I thought, this is crazy to be so radical its just being awkward for awkwards sake.

However, when I read the book, I became curious and realised that she had a point on some issues, and so did Barry Smith.

This morning I read this BBC News Report on : NEAR FIELD COMMUNICATION TRANSFORMS TRAVEL , and it brought to my remembrance the 'cashless society' and 'mark of the beast' theory in Barry Smiths books - written some 20 plus years ago. The BBC Report looks amazing, it even has a sort of Sci-Fi slant to it. However I paused to think; do we ever consider what the cost may be to need this technology to travel, buy groceries, with just a 'chip'? What if to aquire this 'superchip' the registration requirements changed over time? What if all our personal ID info was required inorder to get a chip? No more trips to Walmart, Safeway, no travel from country to country, etc. Could this not lead to serious abuses of privacy and ones rights if we are not prepared to release this 'private' infomration inorder to buy products using this 'system'. Infact what if one day we may not be able to buy products apart from technology such as this? How would we buy and sell or survive for that matter?

I for one will watch for signs of the development of this technology, I cant help but wonder if this became global technology, where this will lead us globally in 20 years time?

Oh well we have a veggie garden, 9 chickens so far. We may need a waterwell, and a dynamatic energy source or solar power - that's for free (when the sun shines in Washington State that is!)

A bit sobering really, many think guys like Barry Smith are total nuts; On the contrary, many also thought Jesus himself was possessed by a demon (this is stated in the bible), yet He was and is Truth.

FINAL THOUGHT

It is easy to brush away the things we do not understand as rubbish, but maybe instead of doing that, we should be asking for understanding of the times we are in, and the wisdom to apply that knowledge to our daily lives in the light of the Holy Spirit.

David Wilkerson goes to Glory!

May 19th 1931 - April 27th 2011

Last night my husband came home from church to let me know that he had heard David Wilkerson had been killed in a car accident in Texas. Many will know him as the guys who wrote his testimony through the book The Cross and the Switchblade and the pastor of Time Square Church, New York where the ministry of Teen Challenge was birthed and of which he was the founder.

I never really followed this guys ministry but something that has stayed with me is that I remember hearing that he called his church to a time of praying and fasting to pray for New York two weeks prior to 911. Who knows what the outcome would have been had he not called that fast.

My husband said last night; He was a true prophet

Goodbye Grete Waitz - !

Yesterday the world of athletics said 'goodbye to a legend'! Today my running coach text me from the UK to tell me that Grete Waitz had died. She was to me a phenomenal athlete and really opened up the way for female endurance athletes. In my early days I used to have her picture that my coach took of her at a race, framed on my sideboard. I still have it framed up! Often my coach would call me 'Grete' when I would get frustrated about my training, to reinvigorate my enthusiasm to pursue my dream of running in the World Cross Country Championships for Britain. She was such an inspiration to run the race I was then chasing!

It is amazing that she died yesterday on 19th April 2011. Two days after of the Annual London City Marathon, a race she twice won, and also set her marathon personal best (PB) there - 2hours :24mins:54 sec- London - 20th April 1986. To read more of here achievements CLICK HERE

On Thursday 20th February 2003 my friend came over to pray with me. She brought with her some teaching tapes for me to listen too. She said I must pray with you tonight. She arrived at 10.30pm as she wanted to pray that night but was busy before hand. I could tell she was on a mission; its me who is usually up all hours and this was one of the reasons she came to speak to me 'time to get a grip and get my routine and life back in order etc' as only close friends can tell us determined types! She left at 3am.
We talked for a while and then decided to bring our thoughts to the Lord. As I opened and asked the Lord to open our ears eyes and heart to what the Holy Spirit was saying...She eventually interjected: since you began to pray Ive been having a vision. I asked her to tell me what she could see..I could see nothing on this night. She talked me through it and was so excited giving as much detail as possible.
We have prayed together for a few years now and she too has been shown much through the story of Cinderella the bride who was raised from rags to a glorious bride. We both feel this story has a parallel to our own life too as well as the true Bride of Christ. So when she got to the darkness in the vision, she would not tell me all she was seeing in fact i could tell by her whole countenance she was disturbed.

She was thinking initially it was more revelation of the fulfillment of the promise God has given me for my personal life because it was on the Cinderella theme again (as she came to pray for me personally) she began to seem disturbed at what the Spirit was showing her. She asked the Lord show me something else: Please Lord, Please Lord. but nothing else came. She didn't want to shut her eyes anymore because all she could see was the same thing 'what she calls darkness'

When she told me she could see a white horse I began to picture a banner we have in our church of a white horse rearing on its back legs faithful and true (Rev 19)..this banner too is just of the horse the rider is not seated on it. I first began to read Revelations 6 first and as I got to the part about the martyrs under the throne I began to weep.

When I had finished reading I said you could see death couldn't you...she said yes but the princess was gone before the death came in. Today I found this article that I have saved since 2004. In 2003 the Holy Spirit spoke to a friend and I during our 'quiet time' through a series of Visions, Gods Word and a DVD about Joan of Arc. The MESSENGER - DVD had a great impact on our lives. Much of what we saw in the DVD was what my friend saw in an open vision just a few days before I purchased it. The night of the vision I was quite fearful but also in awe. We did not know at that time the vision specifically referred to Joan of Arc as a theme or connection. So to have already written down and the vision and to have been talking about the things in the spirit, that were now playing on the DVD before my eyes was a serious wake up call. (at the time I purchased this DVD I was not one to watch violent movies but as I was about to pray for France I bought the DVD to see what Joan of Arc story was all about - be warned some scenes are disturbingly violent)

We were asking the Holy Spirit to speak; during these times we would not speak just open in prayer and wait on the Lord. We would just wait and listen. I remember that night so clearly. We will post the vision in another post as I just felt to post the article below today.

Pray for Jerusalem

This morning my 5 year old daughter commented to her dad as he woke; 'Did you know a lady was killed in Jerusalem as they put a bomb there and 30 people were also hurt. Dad said 'well we can pray for them.' Her reply; 'we did that already and last night we prayed from Egypt because they haven't got much freedom.'

These questions began 23rd March when my daughter was near the computer watching me read the news. She wanted to get on there to play some games. She is 5 years old but an early reader and was able to read the news about the bombing. At first I tried to quickly change the page, but she insisted she was reading that page and asked 'what does it mean there a bomb in a bus station?'

I did my best to explain some basic things, but felt tentative to make sure I didn't tell her too much or too little now her interest was keen. She is very literal so I needed to be careful.

To explain I simply said 'sometimes instead of talking about things and praying for change, people use guns and bombs and fight to change things. So this is what happened here.' She instantly thought that was 'silly' and that we pray for them. I was so excited at her response!

She suggested we pray first for the dead lady and the 30 wounded people, so in her prayer she asked that 'Jesus made the woman alive again, and helped the people who were hurt to get better quickly.'

It was interesting today to discover that the lady (Mary Gardener) who was killed in the bombing, was actually a christian believer and a Wycliffe bible translator who lived in Togo in West Africa. She was in Jerusalem to study Hebrew in order to translate the New Testament into the Togo language-(see link Guardian.co.uk ). That is the amazing thing, we also prayed for the family of the lady who died (my input) that they would know Jesus peace. It is now 2nd April and she is still very insistent we must pray for Jerusalem.

I have been praying Amos 7:4-6. The subheading in the Bible I have been reading is: "Vision of Fire." Many are afraid because of what happened in Japan and because of the "Ring of Fire" that circles the Pacific Ocean. This touches many nations, including the USA. We have seen Chile, New Zealand, and Japan shake violently this year. Seattle, the Aleutian Islands, Alaska, California, and portions of Mexico could shake the same way.

This morning I woke from a short but very directive dream. Many of my dream I have are very symbolic and it takes some time of pondering what the meaning is. Usually the fullness is revealed from various sources over weeks months sometimes years.

The dream I woke from this morning was clear and today it was an honour to share the dream with the body and pray as instructed for the Olympic Peninsula were we live in Washington State.

DREAM: March 20th 2011

I dreamed I was sat at the back of the sanctuary of the church my husband pastors in Silverdale, WA. I had the thought in the dream to ask them to pray for the leaders on the Peninsula. I saw myself walking to the front but pondering, was there a specific purpose? In the dream I was aware that we all knew it was biblical to pray for those with spiritual or governmental authority ( I Timothy 1 & 2).

As I woke I had the thoughts. 'If they will meet I will build them together like Mechano.' I thought to myself 'that was a strange thought'. I then decided I should look on the google to see what were the qualities of Mechano; I knew it was a construction toy that boys often had for Christmas when I was a child, and that they spent hours building amazing designs, some copied, some self-invented.

One thing I realise now is that the construction Mechano is actually spelt Meccano http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meccano, so I searched for the spelling of the word I first had in my head spelt like Mechano. When I typed it in the first thing that came up was 'Mechano Growth Factor' which is actually a 'growth hormone' that naturally exists in the body and promotes growth http://www.futurepundit.com/archives/006336.html below is an expert from the link.

I believe the Holy Spirit was saying that if the leaders would meet, He would cause the body of believers on the Peninsula to grow, and even where there had been atrophy (wasting) in the body, He would cause the body to be healed and grow in stature, in strength, in power and presence; all of the things that occur when a body processes MGF. This would be a supernatural dose though. Not some synthetic version (religious version) that body builders may use to create an impression of having a naturally strong body this would be the real deal. Straight from the throne room.

We were able to pray and we asked people to come and stand in place to represent the NESW of the region. The Holy Spirit was present in power. I was so excited..... Glorious God pour out your spirit here that the whole region will be ONE - STRONG, POWERFUL AND ATHLETIC IN BODY, BRINGING GLORY TO YOUR NAME, THAT IT WOULD GO OUT FROM THIS POCKET TO THE NATIONS.

Not sure how or where or when we should all meet but I guess we know in part and we just have to begin! What I do know in my heart is that another shift took place today....... I was so amazed how the Holy Spirit reveals little mysteries

What is Passive Aggressive?

Since moving to the Pacific Northwest there is a major shift going on not only in me personally but in trying to adapt or operate and find freedom, should I say, in the midst of my surroundings and the culture (also knowing that ultimate freedom is being seated with christ in heavenly places). I was chatting with someone about the term 'passive- aggressive' recently (until moving here I had never heard of it). I was told well the Pacific Northwest is the state of the Passive aggressive, and we both began to laugh. I felt unnerved a little so today I began to read about what this condition actually is.

PASSIVE-AGGRESSIVE

There are eleven hallmarks that identify the Passive-Aggressive personality disorder.

My 5 year old daughter is so curious about heaven/ Jesus/ End Times/ everything biblical these days

Tonight I prayed with her before she went to sleep, this soon became a very in depth
discussion! Her concept of things is so clear! I do not usually pray these
prayers with her but felt led too tonight. I prayed and asked Jesus to forgive ‘me’
for being anxious sometimes and even causing my children to feel anxious
because of my own anxiety and fears about certain things. I asked Jesus to
please help me to trust him more and not be anxious about things, and my
children too.

She replied, 'MUM WHY DO YOU KEEP ASKING FOR FORGIVENESS, YOU KNOW THE BIBLE SAID JESUS TOOK THE SIN OF THE WHOLE WORLD, SO ITS GONE
ALREADY AND THERE IS NO WHERE IN HEAVEN FOR JESUS TO PUT THEM, SO THEY ARE NOT IN HEAVEN THEY ARE GONE…..

When Will Jesus Return?

I love my children so much! The other day my 5 year old asked me right out of the blue: 'Mum, when will Jesus return?' I said, Well I dont know but the Bible says, noone will know only God the time that is set for Jesus to return. In the next breath she said; " umm do you think the Google may know?"

I laughed so much! However, she was so curious as to why I laughed at her question. You see whenever she asks me a question and I dont know the answer, we usually decide to ask 'the google'. She usually cant wait until I get there, so just gets on the search engine and types in the things she knows and asks me to spell the things she doesnt know, then reads me the answers. Its so logical, so what is so funny.

Maybe we should ask the google anyway see what comes up... she is into eschatology as 5 years!!!

Even children are curious about these answers that we as adults have to acknowledge have been hidden for a good reason!

The Fabric of His Love

On the morning of 3rd March 2003 (03-03-03) that is 8 years ago today. I recalled today I had set the day aside to pray and fast with many in the global church. That morning as I was writing an email I was suddenly overwhelmed with presense of the Holy Spirit. It was like hot oil just downloaded from the ceiling, filling me filling me filling me. The rest of the day I was in awe and wonder of Gods desire to be pursued by us and how he longs to connect with us in a very tangible way. I have posted below the article I wrote after I was drawn into this beautiful unexpected vision something that was a relatively new thing for me. One thing I know for sure, I am now always longing to experience Gods presense more than any encounter I know like I did that day.

My prayer today is Lord release the fullness of your love again in my heart, that I may know you more and more, and connect with you, and be with you, and dine with you, and laugh with you, and cry with you.......... more Lord... More for the Global church let your Kingly reign flow from our lives...that your kingdom will come on earth as it is in heavan. I love you so much My Jesus My saviour x...

'FABRIC OF HIS LOVE'

I suddenly became aware of the fullness of the love of God it was so strong in me it was like hot oil. It was light and strong. Then I began to see along white roll of fabric and I sensed this represented the love of God. As I looked at the roll I knew it was on an endless roll and extended to eternity. The cloth was white and soft but also strong. I knew that as I followed the roll of fabric there were many more colours woven into this fabric. In fact, the Holy Spirit told me it was 'The fabric of his Love'. The other colours that I knew were there were purples, yellows, greens, and reds, the colours of the rainbow.

Even though I could only see the fabric as white, I was certain these colours were somewhat hidden. I then became aware that the spectrum of light is made up of the colours of the rainbow. And the word of God says 'God is Light' and 'God is Love.

I then asked the Lord to show me this in his word. I went to my Strongs concordance and looked for fabric but it wasn’t there! So I looked for love and followed it through the OT and NT searching into those scriptures that caught my eye. I looked up Colossians 2v2 (AMP) and felt that this was getting close.

'[For my concerns is] that their hearts may be braced (comforted, cheered and encouraged) as they are KNITTED TOGETHER IN LOVE, that they may come to have all abounding wealth and blessings of assured conviction, of understanding, and that they may become progressively more intimately acquainted with and may know more definitely and accurately and thoroughly the mystic secret of God. [which is] Christ (the Anointed One): Col 2v2 AMP

Then I came across my Message Bible and had the thoughts 'look up the fabric in the message Col 2v2' . As I opened it up and read my heart was leaping as I read the words

'I WANT YOU WOVEN INTO THE TAPESTRY OF MY LOVE, in touch with everything there is to know of God. then you will have minds confident and at rest, focussed on Christ, God's great mystery. All the richest treasures of wisdom and knowledge are embedded in that mystery and nowhere else. And we've been shown the mystery! . .......'(Message Bible: Col 2v2).

He is still showing me more RE- 'He sees UNITY IN DIVERSITY': that’s how Christ longs for his body (true church- Christian vessels) to be seen by the world. He loves our diversity, we don’t all have to look white and pure to be part of the tapestry: We ARE white and pure in his love as we come together with all our idiosyncrasies. If one of the colours of the spectrum of light are missing we no longer have a pure white light. Just like when I saw the roll of white fabric, I could only see the white and not the other colours yet I knew they
were there, they were hidden in the overall fabric: LOVE. This is how the light of Christ also shines and reaches the darkest of places. I believe he was showing me that his light and his love are inseparable: when we shine his light, we show his love and visa versa.

When I got to work on Wednesday 05-03-03. I checked my email and had one from a brother at work RE- PRAYERS AND FASTING ON 03-03-03! It was sent on 28th February 2003 but i only opened it that moment. The email had three recommendations for prayer themes from 'Pray Today' put forward by Ted Haggard,
Rick Ridings and Chuck Pierce. Here is the part of Ted Haggard’s request that caused my spirit to leap. PRAYERFOCUS: .....Pray that this date, rather than being a focal point of darkness, will be overwhelmed by the light of God through the worldwide prayers of his people. When I read this prayer focus I knew that this was the Lord confirming that I had experienced the morning of 03-03-03 when I felt his love so strongly.

On 03-03-03 Gods love and light reached like a white fabric over the whole of the world as brothers and sisters of all colours, nations, economical and social background etc, came together to seek his face. We represented the Lord as a pure love as all our differences were hidden...His body on that day was shining globally in this dark world and covering it with the 'Fabric of his Love'

"Foster Care by Christians in the UK is now in doubt." –Christian Legal Centre

A disturbing landmark judgment was made in the UK's High Court on Monday that could have a very serious impact on Christians there who wish to be foster parents.

Lord Justice Munby and Mr Justice Beatson's judgment stated that Christian beliefs on sexual ethics may prove harmful to children; at the same time they upheld an Equalities and Human Rights Commission submission that there is a risk of children being "infected" by Christian moral beliefs.

The judges' ruling was in regard to the dispute between married couple Eunice and Owen Johns and the Derby City Council, where the John's application to provide foster care was blocked because they were not willing to promote homosexual ideals to young children. The couple asked to be exempted from promoting the practices because of their Christian moral beliefs.

The speech, delivered at the National Prayer Breakfast, comes on the heels of public opinion surveys that show only a minority of Americans know that Obama is a Christian and that a growing number believe he's a Muslim.

"My Christian faith has been sustaining for me over the last couple of years and even more so when Michelle and I hear our faith questioned from time to time," the president said Thursday, referring to his wife. "We are reminded that ultimately what matters is not what other people say about us but that we are true to our conscience and true to our God."

As I read an watched the above I could only think this is a much welcomed and powerful declaration of the personal christian faith of President Obama... Lets remember to pray for those in authority - regardless if those in authority are those we voted for... now there is a test of grace! Kings, Queens, Presidents, Local Governments.... its biblical

JESUS CAME OUT OF NAZARETH - NOW ITS TIME FOR HIS CHURCH

I was recently pondering about how I saw things when I was first 'born again' and became a Christian. This happened in 1995 after a radical encounter with Jesus after the death of my grandmother. As a young christian I began to write down and journal what the Holy Spirit was speaking to me... today I was reminded of an article I wrote almost 10 years ago and the message I believe is still the same.......

JESUS CAME OUT OF NAZARETH TO SAVE THE LOST

NOW ITS TIME FOR HIS CHURCH

1) When Phillip found Nathanael, he had been actively searching for him to tell him “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” (John1v45). So Phillip obviously felt that he had something worth sharing.

2) When Nathanael heard the message, it wasn’t the fact that Jesus was the son of Joseph that troubled Nathanael, but it was more the fact that he had come out of Nazareth.

“Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?” Nathanael asked (v46). Nathanael wasn’t taking offence at Jesus, as the people of Nazareth themselves did when they realized Jesus was ‘only the carpenter’ (Mark 6v3). He was however, questioning whether anything good could come out of Nazareth. He asked not with the heart of a Pharisee that would try to undermine Jesus, but he asked with a desire to get a truthful answer, he hadn’t already decided the answer in his heart, this wasn’t a trap, this really was a question.

We know this because Jesus himself later said “Here is a true Israelite, in whom there is nothing false.” v47. Phillip also recognised Nathanaels sincere heart when he invited him to “come and see”v46.

Nathanael was so amazed Jesus knew him, he then wanted to know “How do you know me?”v48. Jesus’ simple reply impacted Nathanael so much that he became one of Jesus’ first disciples.

What was it in the words Jesus spoke

that touched Nathanaels heart?

It was the words “I saw you….before Phillip called you”v48. Similarly when the Lord called Jeremiah he said to him “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart……”Jeremiah(1v5). There was something reassuring for both Jeremiah and Nathanael to know all that was happening wasn’t a fluke! The Lord knew everything about them.

When we come to Jesus with a pure heart we are open to receive the answer whether we like the answer or not. This is made more evident when we read about the Samaritan Women in John 4v39. She stated “He (Jesus) told me everything I ever did” This ‘telling’ was the raw exposure of the sin in her life, but once again she didn’t take offence or become offended she rushed off to tell the people in the town that Jesus knew all about her sin!

This woman was so amazed at Jesus she didn’t focus on the sin, but she focused on the Truth and his name was Jesus.....

An Open Letter to the Arabic-Speaking Christians as well as the Church Worldwide

As you are aware, this is one of the most critical and serious times for Believers across the Middle East in recent memory. As a prophet, I have been seeking the Lord for a prophetic word concerning the situation in Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia, Yemen, and other parts of the Arabic-speaking world as well as those greatly influenced by Islamic teaching.

Also, in looking back at the prophetic word for 2011 issued by the Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders (click here to view), I read the warning we issued which said that satan would try and start another third world war. One of his purposes is to stop the new missionary movements taking place across the face of the earth.

I believe we are at that tipping point, at this moment, where the situation in Egypt could destabilize the region to such a degree that just such a scenario would take place. Of course, new regimes could be put in place that would cause Iranian-type oppression of Believers.

This is why I am calling for the Body of Christ around the world, and particularly the Arabic-speaking community, to participate in a season of prayer and fasting beginning as soon as you receive this letter.

Many may want to even have such a severe fast as an "Esther Fast." Others can fast as their health allows. If you are able to do an Esther Fast, I am suggesting it for a three-day time period.

Further, I feel like I am hearing from the Lord that what satan has meant for evil, God will turn for good if the Church across the Middle East will put aside their doctrinal and denominational differences and come together in unity to pray. The walls of division must fall if the Christian community is going to be protected.

While things seem quite dire, if the Church will fast and pray together as one, the turmoil will die down and God will protect the world from a terrible war.

On a redemptive note, I see a generation of young leaders arising out of the Church who are anointed to preach the Gospel and see a great harvest of souls all across the Middle East, as well as North Africa, Central Asia, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

In Florida , an atheist created a case against

Easter and Passover Holy days. He hired an attorney to bring a discrimination case against Christians and Jews and observances of their holy days.

The argument was that it was unfair that atheists had no such recognized days.

The case was brought before a judge. After listening to the passionate presentation by the lawyer, the judge banged his gavel declaring,"Case dismissed!"

The lawyer immediately stood objecting to the ruling saying, "Your honor, How can you possibly dismiss this case? The Christians have Christmas, Easter and others. The Jews have Passover, Yom Kippur and Hanukkah, yet my client and all other atheists have no such holidays..."

The judge leaned forward in his chair and said, "But you do. Your client, counsel, is woefully ignorant."

The lawyer said, "Your Honor, we are unaware of any special observance or holiday for atheists."

The judge said, "The calendar says April 1st is April Fools Day. Psalm 14:1 states, 'The fool says in his heart, there is no God.' Thus, it is the opinion of this court, that, if your client says there is no God, then he is a fool. Therefore, April 1st is his day. Court is adjourned...";

You gotta love a Judge that knows his scripture!

I woke to pray, at 3am again. I am sensing God is about to do something wonderful in this region but it may not come without some serious struggles in the natural landscape of things. As this is something I can only say I sense in my knowing - I can but Pray in the Spirit without ceasing when I wake.

St Govans Chapel - Wales, UK

Not too far from Tenby, out on the spectacular southwest coast of Wales, wedged into a tiny crevice in a steep cliff is another sacred spot. This is the tiny chapel of St. Govan, built in the 13th century on the site of the cell of a sixth century Celtic monk. Here the hermit St. Govan, from Wexford in Ireland, and abbot there, reportedly hid from his pagan persecutors in a niche in the rock, which miraculously opened and closed behind him. The modern visitor slim enough to turn around in the niche is assured of good luck and the fulfillment of his wishes. A former well on the chapel floor was supposed to cure many diseases. A huge boulder outside the chapel is also said to hide a silver bell, stolen by pirates (or Vikings) from the chapel tower, but recovered by angels and now kept safe in the rock.

On the way down to the tiny chapel, a steep flight of stone steps cut into the steep cliff has to be navigated. Legend has it that the number counted going down never matches the number reached on the way up. The whole experience is one of mystery, the site is almost inaccessible from land and sea (especially now that the Government uses much of the land approaches to the shrine as a firing range for the military). You have but one small side-journey to make on the way to St. David's - Nevern.

This is an awesome clarification by my friend, Dennis Cramer. Since the inception of the Elijah List, no word has received 100% approval or disapproval on any word we have EVER posted – some love it and some rebuke us for each word.
Dennis Cramer has shown great compassion to me on the phone yesterday, so I know he is a truly caring person. We wept on the phone together over the issues in question that we, a prophetic people and we as the Church, wrestle with. For instance, the Elijah List received both kudos from Dennis' word, as well as questions/concerns from others who didn't quite understand the word. Here are some important points to consider as you read this:
On the divorce and restoration subject, the Apostle Peter was restored in a short 50 days after cursing his Savior (far worse than divorce); then Pentecost broke out after Peter's message. So each situation of restoration is subjective and no two people will see the same restoration the same way on ANY word. That's just a fact.
Some prophets also see the issue of angels differently. Find your own peace with the Lord regarding angels, but never brag about angels but STAY IN THE WORD OF GOD – THE Bible. Paul warns us not to be puffed up regarding angelic visitations.

If you are close to Cardiff, this will be worth a visit.. Roy Fields ( RUN WITH FIRE )is an amazing worshipper and it sounds like Revival is breaking out. He is an awesome God seeker and was used radically in the Lakeland Revival. We went to the Lakeland Revival in Florida in May 2008 and can only say we saw some amazing things happen there. Best of all, our son Elijah was the fruit of that week away, so he was our awaited amazing miracle :)

After almost 9 months of construction, the Mount Rainier Gondola is now open. It opened at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 1, 2011. Over 3,000 people rode the gondola on opening day under clear blue skies.

This is one for you skiing enthusiasts.... Personally, I'll stick with the jogging thanks, I like my feet on the ground.... but maybe worth a trip to see it all... Its just 100 miles from Silverdale WA

Fork in the Track

Decision time..which way Lord?

maybe the fork in the track means its time for lunch ??

I received an email today sharing how those who belong to Jesus were seen being given a choice of which path to follow...some on a familiar road and some on an unknown road and it reminded me of a dream a lady at our church shared with me that she had received about a week ago. There was however, a slight difference..

Dream: the dream in brief involved our church on a train going along a track and we came to a fork in the track.... in short she was asked by someone at the church to make a decision which way we were to go. When she was about to make a decision the Holy Spirit prompted her, UHHHH which way are you going? She then reaslised she was going to take the fork that she wanted to take but had not asked the Holy Spirit which way we should go. Once she asked, the Holy Spirit said, 'Take the left fork' As she looked there was no track to the left and we had to all get out and chop down the undergrowth as it was uncultivated ground and had not yet been established as a track.

What I loved about the dream was there was two tracks to take, but it was the Spirit of the Lord who showed us which path we should take once we asked him. Without consulting Him we would have taken which path we thought was best. Maybe the Lord would have led some at that place of decision to take a different fork, but it was not about taking the most impulsive, exciting or sacrificial fork etc. It was about going the way the Lord had called us... As it turned out we took the uncultivated route with the Lords blessing, but had he told us to take the other route (even if cultivated for us) that would have been perfect too.... because that would have been Gods best for us as a body of believers ....Obedience is better than sacrifice.

Today the children and I managed to hijack their daddy for a few hours (under duress) and take him out for some fresh air to the park; and BOY was it fresh!!!! -2 to 0 degrees fresh... as you will see from the pix. I love living in Silverdale in the heart of the Puget Sound, WA. in the midst of the Evergreen State. I was thinking today how God has a destiny for our lives, and gives us little snapshots as we go along and we seek his will for our lives.

In 2005 when we were expecting our 2nd oldest, we visited Washington State on a ministry trip for the first time and stayed with some friends about 10 mile from where we now live. That night after a time of worship the family prayed for us and one of them shared they saw a vision in the Spirit as they prayed for us: They saw an evergreen tree with nest in it. On the way to their house I had noticed that most of the license plates on the cars displayed 'Evergreen State' on them. My husband had told me then, that was because it was the name for Washington - the Evergreen State. As soon as the vision was shared, something leapt in my spirit and was sealed in my heart. I said 'The Evergreen Tree is Washington State and the nest is a home.
I did not know how, or if, or when, but I felt sure, that if we ever came to the USA to live, it would be to Washington State. That vision never left me, it was so strong. My husband applied for so many posts all over the USA as he felt sure to return to pastor, but it was in the Evergreen State that the Lord opened the door.

It is so much like Wales here, I feel like I am still on maternity leave in West Wales in a little hide out; apart from the obvious fact; they drive on the other side of the road here, and sound a little different. So, without further a do, here are the photos we took a few hours ago. To give you a flavour of our first cold, frosty and picturesque New Years Day in Silverdale WA. God is so good all the time..

My Big Baby on Christmas Day

I missed my eldest daughter so much on Christmas day and wanted to add this snap she sent me! The problem being it came horizotal from her iphone and I have tired everything since (in a variety of programs) to turn it right side up but it wont, so I'm posting it like this now! Maybe it should stay like that....horizontal... After all she is in a babies 'all-in one bodysuit' as we call them in the UK or onesie in the USA.

In her message she called the above a 'onesie' ---- so looks like they have some Americanisms going on with the Adult selection of clothing in the UK.

So why am I adding this at 4.30 am on New Years Day? because someone rang our house at 3.03 am and left a message which I couldnt understand, so now I am in the 'wide awake club' after making a silly decision to check my mail for 'a minute' Im just grateful my babes are in dreamland though..... all I can say is they had better not ring back tonight!

Tonight I have just read a pocket book 'The Pioneer Spirit' written by Dutch Sheets - Inspirational, motivating, encouraging are just a few words to describe the book.The book speaks throughout about those of us who will rise up and seek out the Old Road radical Christianity, that has been abandoned and has become overgrown with various vices of a materialistic and narcissistic America. I would say this could go further to define the majority of the western church, and not just America.

Two points in the book rang out so loud that I could hardly hold the book, without wanted to grab someone and tell them. However, it is 1.45am so I decided it best to get up add it to the blog and follow up tomorrow.

Setting the scene for this renewed excitement

This summer I was asked to speak at a Latter Glory Gathering at the AOG church my husband pastors in Silverdale, WA. I was really battling as I had just a week to prepare and didn't really feel like I had anything to share. I even tried to palm the opportunity off to my husband saying, "You can do it if you like?" "a week is easy for you." Thankfully he refused and made sure I took the opportunity to share about something. He was confident God would lay something on my heart during the week.

I shared on the Word that was the motivation for beginning this blog - I am Accelerating Your Destiny not because my husband refused to speak for me, because God spoke to me clearly from my daily reading when I got back to my quiet place! I felt compelled to turn to my daily reader for the day I had been ask to speak and it stated in the intro - Make sure you speak..... etc. There was no way to squeeze out of that one, as now I knew it was a Godincidence.

The problem was I felt compelled to share about the part of the word where its says: God would make the crooked path straight. So I not only knew I had to preached, I also had to have a stab at a bit of teaching too... scary but I knew I had too. We have become so overcome by this 'qualifying Spirit' in the body of Christ, that I too was battling of whether or not 'I was up to standard' to get up there and share my heart. Now there's a clue, share your heart; if it is from the heart and you do what you can God will take you to, and will even amaze you at what you find out!

Well I found my text as soon as I opened the bible Jeremiah 6 v 16 - 21

'Stand at the cross roads and look, ask for the ancient paths ask where the good way is and walk in it, and you will receive rest for your souls, but you said 'we will not walk in it' Therefore this is what the Lord says I will put obstacles before this people, Fathers and sons alike will stumble over neighbours and friends will perish'

Oh Yikes! How do you bring that in a positive way?

GOLDEN JUBILEE IN WALES OR SHIFT TO THIRD DAY CHURCH

In 2002 in Newport, South Wales UK, I received a vision from the Holy Spirit which led to a season of many more connecting words of knowledge and visions.Today I was just looking for an article and came across the word I wrote below. I feel it is time to post it on the blog. The initial vision I wrote down at a time I was supposed to have been on a free holiday in Barbados, while my daughter had her alternate Christmas with her dad. The holiday fell through and I spent the time worshipping the Lord for hours at a time, not just to kick the devil into the touch line and out of the game, but to be with the Lord. In those few weeks, I discovered treasures I would not trade for anything, not even that holiday in Barbados!!!!!!

So, I wrote 'Golden Jubilee In Wales' in 2002; at the time I was a single parent of my beautiful 13 year old daughter, and had been a single parent for 10 years. Yet, God had given me a promise, that even as I was the most unlikely candidate, struggling in every possible way, I would marry a 'prince' and God would bless my life beyond belief. I constantly see this promise this being fulfilled before my eyes.

Today, 8 years on, I have been married to my 'prince' for 7 years and I have two more beautiful children. We have recently moved from Wales UK, to the Pacific Northwest (USA) where my husband now pastors a church.

Today I am posting the origins of the Cinderella vision revealed to me and the parallels I believe are taking place as the 'True' Church of Jesus Christ rises up.

I now believe this is a Global vision of the Church and not something limited to Wales and UK.

A Walk on the Wild Side

It's like watching a David Attenborough Documentary some days, the difference being this is the real thing! Not to forget of course the Humming Birds, but you have seen plenty of those in previous posts. We have seen a Raccoon and a Coyote too, but haven't managed to get them on film. Our friends had a baby Black Bear in their garden this summer past; that slice of knowledge nearly freaked me out. However, our friends live about 15 miles away, so I'm hoping the bears do too.. at least 15 miles away!

URGENT PRAYER

Hi there; You dont me so I will put you in the picutre. Below is a cute photo of my Auntie Emma giving me a cuddle when I was born in June 2009. I have just turned 1 years old and have a request to all you praying people out there. My mummy, 'Clare' is very ill in hospital and needs a miracle of healing. She was taken sick in August 2010 and after surgery in September 2010 has recently began urgent chemotherapy in November 2010 and is having a hard time. Please pray for Jesus to heal her and make her better. I love and need my mummy sooo much, and so does my Auntie Emma. Thank you all for your continued faithful prayer.

Just got back from Silverdale Waterfront Park loving the community in action and in truth. The hands and feet of Jesus making the link... When I asked one of the kids if she was enjoying herself as the weather was so good and the food was fab (chilli and hot dogs, coffee and hot chocolate), she said; 'Its so good because Jesus gave us the earth and everything in it, so we can give some of what we have back to the people here too". She is just 6 years old and this was not a pat answer from a well churched kid as some may think; I had a strong witness in my spirit: this was right from her heart! All I could say is 'You are just so beautiful!' I gave a large swallow as my eyes began to water...... Compassion for others is an amazing thing, but from a 6 year old it is so precious... Out of the mouths of babes... Hallelujah x

'Generation Reach' - 'Pump up the Volume' on Sunday 21st at OVAG

This is the second of the Sunday morning 'take over' meetings we have had at OVAG since we got here... more of them to follow. Thanks to Donna Marie and the children and of course the awesome anointing and favour on their lives they ....did an amazing job...they just love it; worshipping, preaching some truth 'raw style' and praying for the sick.... things can only continue to open up for more opportunites to let these little beauties loose .... next time is 3, 4, 5, December we will be moving down to the waterfront park where we will all go with them for a drumming outreach - giving free burgers (and maybe even chilli filling I hear), praying - What a blast - Im up for that....time to smash out of the BOX people!!!!! Test those spiritual muscles.... new conditioning phase coming up :)

HUMMING BIRDS IN NOVEMBER SNOW STORM

Today we were amazed to see some visitors who I'm sure must be very much 'out of season' here on the Puget Sound, WA. It is 23 degrees farenheight/ feels like 9F with wind - in plain English that is -12 Celsius outside. At one point after the first power outage, I was a bit concerned our freezers would defrost if the power stayed off too long ( we made a group decision we could throw the frozen Thanksgiving Turkeys we are 'hosting' in the snow until the power came back on if they began to defrost!!!). For now though, we are all systems go and all power is on again!

We have had at least 5-8 inches of snow and is still falling.......... love it... the power outages allowed Elijah and Esther to have some serious fun with our torches (flash light to the Yanks) ... Thank God we had some candles 'in house' and nice smelly ones too. What a fantastic day, watching the most amazing flakes of snow fall as a backdrop to some beautiful humming birds feeding from outside our living room window. The last 3 were taken from outside balancing on a chair about a foot away from feeder; the humming bird didn't even notice me stood there, waiting for him to come and feed... God you make all things well........ I love you X

‘NO-ONE HAS HIRED US’ THEY SAID

Tonight I was pondering again and for some reason this article I wrote in 2002 came back to my mind. I thought about posting it in the morning, but as that was two hours ago and I still am awake and thinking about it... I decided this may need immediate attention... Now I sleep and you read :)

INTRODUCTION

Today was a very special day in the history of the city where I live. Newport in South Wales, United Kingdom has recently been granted city status from our previous status as a town. Today is the day that Her majesty Queen Elizabeth II of England came to visit us as part of her Golden Jubilee celebrations, and to announce by Royal decree the honour she has bestowed on our town.

Throughout these Golden Jubilee celebrations the Lord has been giving me fresh insight to His kingdom; whenever I read, or watch anything related to the Queen’s Golden Jubilee, I am always expectant that the Lord may want to show me something more. So when the Queen visited us today, I was not surprised when some of the issues the church are going to have to adjust to in this late hour were being exposed before my eyes.

THE WAIT

It was 12.30pm and we decided to make our way to the city centre to wait for the arrival of the Queen. She was due to walk through the main street between 2.30 and 3.00pm. As we arrived, there were already people standing behind the crowd protection barriers, they had been waiting for sometime (some as early as 8am) to get the best view of the queen. These people appeared to be very loyal supporters of the queen. This was evident from their commitment to stand for hours waiting for their precious reward ‘a glimpse of royalty’.

As time went on and the crowds filled in behind us, we all got quite ‘snug’ as we waited. Entertainers were called to perform for the children; the wait for whom must have seemed like eternity!

THE LITTLE CHILDREN

It was at about 1.30pm when I realised a little girl about 8 years old was standing next to me crying. Apparently, she had made her way to the barrier (two rows in front of us) and slipped between two women to hopefully get a glimpse of the queen; unfortunately she had been pushed back as the women would not yield.

A friend of mine had seen the incident and was quite close to the women, so she promptly pushed her way to the front to speak them.

“Do you realise you have made this little girl cry by pushing her to the back” she said.

Their defence was that they had the right to stay in position because they had been waiting there the longest. They were quite determined to stand ‘their’ ground and they did! At this point the little girl had withdrawn from the commotion and was stood next to me. As her tear’s quietly streamed down her cheeks and were dripping off her chin, I raised her face to look at me. The expression of disappointment was too obvious to hide; I couldn’t help myself and found myself saying, “Its OK you’ll see the Queen, you can sneak through that gap when she starts to arrive!”

At this her eyes began to smile and the tears stopped flowing. This simple word of encouragement gave her instant hope; this positive comment affected her whole posture, and her outlook regarding the event that was to follow. She now had a raised level of expectation and as time moved on I couldn’t help but notice she had decided she was going to stick to me like glue until she had seen the Queen!

Phase 3 - OPEN ROAD - 2008 ARGENTINA - i) The Childrens Home

We arrived in Argentina after a 9 hour and a 10 hour flight back to back. As we settled for take off on the second flight the captain announced there would be a slightly longer detour to avoid the path of Hurricane Ike which was moving over South America - not the most comforting news for a reluctant flyer-but after 9 hours, and 10 hours more, it all feels the same after a while.

We were met at the airport in Buenos Airies by my brother-in-law Raul, known to our children as Tio Raulie and our niece Ruth and her daughter Bianca. Raulie and his wife Mirtha run a christian orphanage just outside the capital with very little funds and do an amazing job. I was humbled and honoured to stay there with them for our first week to see what a fantastic job they do with the children. Some children are there for a few months while adjustments can be made to home situations, some remain longer. I was honoured to meet two of the lads who are brothers and have been there most of their lives. My husband tells me when they went to school as children, they would call themselves Lampan as they considered themselves part of my brother-in- laws family, they still do. When I stayed there for a week, living with them all together, I saw just how much of a family and how much all the children who live there are loved and love my in laws.

One of the brothers' Tadeo' I saw on my husbands website in 2001 when he was about 6 and I began to pray for him and prayed that one day if possible I would meet him. I was not even married to my husband then and had no connections to Argentina. That prayer was answered on this trip and I told Tadeo I had prayed for him many years before, and it was an answer to prayer to meet him.

Both boys are lovely caring lads as you will see from some of the photos with our daughter, as were all the children. Each day the younger children would knock my door when they got in from school and then come in to give me a hug and say Hola Tia Claire. Academically both Tadeo and Freddie have done well too; the younger brother - 'freddy' was in college while we were there training to be a PE teacher. The brothers are long term care children, yet have been brought up as part of The Lampan family. This was not an orphanage that I saw, it their home. This same home is the home where Rauli and Mirtha raised there own three children too, a place where they all learned together about love, discipline, but most of all Jesus.

Every Sunday all the family go to their local pentecostal church, freddie also plays his guitar in the worship team. Beginning at the Children Home shaped my whole trip - to see how two people can live out a God given vision with such selfless love and compassion, was a gem I will always treasure. We just got back from a few hours at the Waterfront (that overlooks Dyes Inlet).... 61 degrees and no clouds in a sunny sky in October... rare even more so in Washington this time of year.... Origins of Halloween

Do we go with the rest of the world or stand for the light of Christ. I have attached an article on a weblink that may surprise some readers, of what one would be entertaining as they 'go with the spirit of Halloween.'

Even though this festival was originally a celebration of things such as - life and death, light and darkness, summer into winter; its origins are most definitely in witchcraft and closely connected with the Celtic druid.

So as the children of Jesus, do we ignore it and do nothing on 31st October, or offer an alternative.

Many vary on opinions here, so Im' just throwing this out!

CAMP OR NO CAMP?

I was just quietly laying awake not doing much sleeping tonight and was contemplating some discussions and thoughts I have had that are on my heart these last few days. 'There seem to be two camps or groups'

Camp 1 - Secular Community Workers

Those who are full steam ahead doing community works for Jesus yet without realising it are establishing 'their' name as a christian (follower of Jesus) in the community.
This group are often quite 'anti church' and even the mention of the fact that church still happens not only every Sunday in most cities as a public assembly, a place of connecting 'one brother and sister with another' the very mention of the word 'church' to them is almost a catalyst for the conversation to enter a 'crooked road', and an explanation for every reason why church is not relevant anymore e.g. ' I can be a Christian in the community without the politics of church, without the pastor running the show from the top,' etc etc etc etc.

Camp 2 - Church Goers

Then you have the 'church goers' entering the 'crooked road' debate of how it is biblical to go to church and meet as a public assembly quoting scriptures like ' do not stop meeting together' and any who are not in a 'regular church' are 'back sliding', 'loose cannons' etc etc etc.

Phase 1 - OPEN ROAD- USA - 2005

On this posting I will try and convey some things that happened on the first Open Road Trip or Phase 1, then I will add Phase 2 - USA - 2006 and Phase 3- Argentina -2008, I guess we are in Phase 4 now as we moved to USA - 2010.

On this phase one trip in June 2005, we travelled 21 states including a brief visit to Toronto, Canada. We took the opportunity as we ministered too and also reconnected with many of Conrad's friends and also ministries in the USA after he had been away for almost 3 years. I was 20 weeks pregnant when we left and was only thinking of one thing, having a 4 week break from work and my first 'holiday' in the USA. What a crazy thought that was.

Anyone who knows my husband may already know he was once called 'Jehu' - Son of Nimshi, for his driving skills and ability to endure on the 'open road' - sometimes for 12 hours a day. Needless to say I arrived at my desk in Wales, UK, four weeks later wondering if I had been swept up in a whirlwind for the entire trip!

More later, but for now some snaps. The photos will not be added in the order we travelled, because my journal with all the states and freeways info etc is in UK. Randon State order....... here goes.......

'Have Salt in Yourselves'

Jesus says, "Have salt in yourselves and be at peace one with another." Have salt in yourselves - dont be dependent on your environment for life's taste. Have springs from within. Then the ups and downs of the home will not mean your going up and down. You are fed from within. That very self-contained sense of taste will help you to be at peace with one another.

OPEN ROAD - USA- JUNE 2005

“I will take you where angels fear to tread; where grown men have stumbled and gone astray. As you stay close to me I will guide and direct your path; stay close to me. Listen for my voice at every junction before you venture out on the “open road”. The sign posts will be there, you must seek and you shall find; do not rush and miss them, but do not stand and dwell beneath them.

You are about to enter the open road; be alert; be ready to accelerate as the road allows, be ready to negotiate each bend with care. Is anything too difficult for me? I will make the crooked path straight when I release my favor, my increase; “kairos” will be a living experience for you, what was crooked will become straight.

I am accelerating your destiny; time is the essence and the essence is time. Do not fear the unknown, this is a road of opportunity and it is “open” for you. Just listen at the junction, and then move out.

You must listen at the junction for directions. Do not fear the danger of colliding with other traffic on the open road. No one has traveled this open road before, only I.
